Slaves
The innocent without a voice
The weak without the power
The poor without the means
Are slaves to our lust and greed.
We feed ourselves in fine cuisines
We vast in luxury
We lust for more and more
Are we not slaves too
The tears of children
We find pleasure
The working slaves
We sold out
And the poor
We simply ignored
Hypocrites, liars, self-centred we are
The world will never change
The lust and greed in our eyes will never fade
We are but slaves to ourselves.
